Thanks, Uncle, for being in our lives ... for all the laughter, love and light. Your quiet voice with a special story or joke has been special since our first meeting. I'll miss seeing you come down the road in camp but there will always be coffee in the pot and a piece of bacon hidden away just for you. Travel safe and know that Joyce is surrounded by all our love and peace. Until next time.....

Uncle Tyler will be around us forever, in stories and with his smiles in our hearts. I too am happy for him to no longer be in pain and it is us on this earth that shed our tears of the pain of losing his physical self.
He brought our family so much joy and loved that he held the prayer for our family. He also brought us Joyce and she made his smiles even bigger than before. May his journey be gentle and swift... you will be missed... but just think of the reunion he is heading for with his brothers and sisters and all his relatives  that has gone before him.

The last time we spent time together Uncle Tyler came to our camp for coffee, thanked me for helping the handicapped and bringing Marla to ceremony..He spoke of his Spirit Buckskin Horse..Since I had and love all horses. It was an awesome sharing time!
I see you SMILING big Uncle, as you are galloping around the heavens on your buckskin pony..We will miss you and love you forever <3

Papa Tyler brought a lot of help and compassion to my family, and he will forever live in my heart and mind as one the greatest people I had the pleasure to get to know and spend some time with. One of his sons sort summed up this man's work and efforts to help people when he told me Tyler always rooted for the underdog. Thankful for that!

Grateful for all the times spent in Goldendale and Walla Walla...literally camped in his house, lol. Many teachings. Tyler is my brother and will be missed. I know he stayed to help the people, which he did, always.A generous man. Hope we can pass it on.

R.I.P Papa Tyler.. This man has touched and taught and loved and was loved by so many.. I am so honored to have sat with this beautiful soul . So grateful for the times of hearing his stories , laughter and to just be in his presence.. Papa will still speak, will still be heard and still dance in our hearts forever.. my selfish heart is so broken, even thought I know he no longer suffers and for that I have peace within this broken heart.. Though the joy I feel to know he dances above us with Uncle Buck and all the other precious loved ones who have crossed.. Papa you will be missed and never forgotten.. Prayers for his lovely wife. Joyce Nelson who has the light of the sun and the song of a gentle wind.. May she be surrounded with gentle arms to hold her.. Auntie I love you and really wish I was closer.. I Love you. Blessed Be..
