Wilma “Sis” Jane Freeman Lilly, 63, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest, Saturday morning, October 19, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital. She was born January 5, 1956, in East Point, KY, a daughter to the late Jesse James Freeman and Geraldine Patrick Freeman.
Wilma was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ at East Point, KY. She co-owned a grocery store and managed Hoss Cats in Grayson. In her spare time she loved attending auctions, going to yard sales and playing Rook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; Jimmy Junior Freeman.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years; Charles Wilmer Lilly, two sons; Charles David Lilly and John Travis Lilly, six sisters; Linda Sue Mathis (Lonnie) of Winchester, Judy Ann Mann (Larry) of Virginia, Donna Maddix of Olive Hill, Janice Carroll Hammond (Harlan) of Paintsville, Alma Lee Hammond (Max) of Olive Hill and Lynn Turner Conley (Todd) of Paintsville, three brothers; John Wayne Freeman (Connie) of Kansas, James Robert Freeman (Donna) of Paintsville and Terry S. Freeman (Joyce) of West Liberty, and two grandchildren to whom she raised as her own; Christian Blake Lilly and Mayzie Ann Lilly. In addition to these, she leaves behind several special friends; Hobart and Sonia Dean, Willis and Bonnie Bond, Lonnie and Karen Tackett, and the Rayburn Family.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Rev. Larry Mann officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Grayson, KY.
Visitation will be 6:00–9:00PM, Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY and 9:00AM until time of service on Wednesday, October 23, 2019.
Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made in Wilma’s memory to Duvall and Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service to offset final expenses.
