Wendy Dawn Stone

Wendy Dawn Stone, age 60, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Tuesday September 17, 2025, at her residence. She was born September 16, 1965, in Olive Hill, Ky a daughter of the late Clifford Stone and Dolly Bishop McDowell.

Wendy was of the Christian Faith and was a retired seamstress having worked several years at the various sewing factories in Olive Hill. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed many types of crafting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Faye Sparks; three brothers, John Bishop, Harold Bishop, and Homer Bishop.

She is survived by one daughter, Christa Carter; one son Brent (Cassandra Roark) Carter, four sisters, Carolyn Middleton, Phyllis Howard, Loretta Newman, Paula Bishop; one brother, Jerry Bishop; Grandchildren, Dawnie Carter, Jayden Roark, Kingston Swanigan and Amaya Gamble. In addition to these is survived by a host of relatives and friends that will cherish her memory.

A Celebration of Life service will be 1:00-3:00 Sunday September 21, 2025, at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164
