Walter Franklin Saulsbury, 85, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Thursday, February 7, 2019 at his residence in Olive Hill, KY.  He was born November 25, 1933, in Carter County, KY, a son of the late Frank and Allie Rogers Saulsbury.

Mr. Saulsbury worked as a farmer and raised cattle. He attended New Life Victory Church and enjoyed taking his dog, Jo Jo, for walks in the woods.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Sigman.

Walter is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Beene; one son; one brother, Raymond Saulsbury; one sister, and two very dear friends, David Minix and Misty Griffith.

Per Mr. Saulsbury’s wishes, he has chosen cremation and no public visitation.  A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to  the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, located at 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
