Thersa Rena Horton Martin, 49, of Grayson , KY, entered into rest Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at her residence.  She was born in Ashland, KY on January 17, 1973, to James Horton and Barbara Ison Horton.

Thersa was of the Freewill Baptist faith. She enjoyed taking train rides and was an animal lover, especially her blue heeler dogs.  Thersa helped run the office and did the bookkeeping for the family business. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Billy Edward Martin.

In addition to her parents, Thersa is survived by three sons, Cullen (Kelsey) Martin, Isaiah Martin, and Jamie Pennington; her mother-in-law, Bonita Smith Martin, and three sisters-in-law, Tina, Mary Beth, and Angie. In addition to these, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family and friends who will greatly miss her.

Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for a graveside service, 11:00 AM, Monday, June 13, 2022, at the cemetery on the family farm, with Bro. Danny Brown officiating.

Friends may visit from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt St., Olive Hill, KY 41164.
