Terry Lee Middleton

Terry Lee Middleton, age 60, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Wednesday morning, December 24, 2025, at UK-St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 2, 1965, in Alliance, OH, a son of Harold Middleton of Olive Hill, KY, and the late Shirley Evans Middleton.

Terry played many important roles throughout his life. He was a loving husband to Shawna, a wonderful dad to Trey, but the role he cherished most was being the best Pop Pop to his granddaughters, Piper and Liza. He also had several hobbies but being an avid card player was his favorite. Terry was also of the Christian faith.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Timmy Middleton; his father-in-law, Bob Piper; and his great-nephew, Deegan Beane.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife, of whom he has shared 43 years, Shawna Piper Middleton; one son and daughter-in-law, Trey and Emily Middleton; one sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Mitch Adkins; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold Gene and Barb Middleton, and Danny Joe and Amy Middleton; his mother-in-law, Sharon Piper; and two granddaughters, Piper Ryan and Liza Clay. Terry also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Pallbearers: Gene Middleton, Danny Middleton, Trevor Middleton, Mitch Adkins, David Lewis, Mark Spurlock, Leighton Piper, Treyce Spurlock, and Rob Beane.

Honorary Pallbearers: Taylor Spurlock, Matt Logan, Travis Duvall, Brandon Bornhauser, Dustin Black, Reid Caudill, Brian Beane, and all of his Poker Buddies.
