Terrance Edgar Porter, age 49, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Monday evening, September 16, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY following a brief illness. He was born September 28, 1974 in Morehead, KY a son of the late Rex Porter and Glenna Carroll Porter of Olive Hill, KY.
Terrance was of the Baptist Faith and employed as a Carpentar, and also had worked in Telecommunications. He loved to draw and tinkering with cars and motorcycles and loved Hotrods.
In addition to his Father he was preceded in death by his grandparents Augustine and Elizabeth Carroll; one brother Jerry Lee Porter; one uncle Gary Carroll; one nephew James Ryan Fitzpatrick; one brother-in-law Phillip Barber and his Black Lab Black Jack.
Along with his mother he is survived by one daughter Dezarae Porter; two sons Kyle and Becca Porter and Dustin and Cheyanne Porter; one sister Tina Porter Barber; 5 half brothers and sisters; Karen Porter Carnohan, Patricia Henson, Rex Porter Jr., Gary Porter, Ronnie Porter and David Porter; two grandchildren Liam Kole Porter and Olivia Kyle Porter and a host of relatives and friends that will cherish his memory.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday September 21, 2024 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY with Pastor David Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Sammons-Carroll Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday September 20, 2024 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Porter, Dustin Porter, Dezarae Porter, Rodney Easterling, James “Lurch” Carroll and Devin Carroll.
