Shirley Mae Perry Thompson, 69, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Monday evening, July 4, 2022, at the Boyd County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born in Carter County on January 12, 1953, to the late Mayo Allen and Ona Delores Butler Perry.

Shirley retired from Ashland Sales in Olive Hill as a seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte Perry (infant), and Connie Sue Perry; one brother, Tony Allen Perry; and several other relatives.

Shirley is survived by one daughter, Constance Marie Boggs; one sister, Rose Marie Webb; two brothers, Gary Eugene Perry, and Rocky Perry; and two grandchildren, Pyra, and Savan. In addition to these, she leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will greatly miss her.

In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.
