Selma K. Logan reached her heavenly home, Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at her residence in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Selma was born January 19, 1950, in Carter County to the late Thurston King and Virginia Wilson Salyer.
She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading her bible and having discussion about the Lord. She also enjoyed politics and was intent on “Making America Great Again”
Selma worked at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY, in the dietary department, and worked several years as a truck driver, as an owner-operator.
In addition to her parents, Selma was preceded in death by one infant sister, Arlene King, and sister, Patricia Manning; two brothers, Dallas King, Arlin King; one brother-in-law, Dennis Lemaster.
Selma is survived by three daughters; Tammy (Todd) McClurg of Morehead, KY, Pam (Mike) Leadingham of Olive Hill, Sherry (Reggie) Caudill of Olive Hill; three sons, William (Connie) Logan of Olive Hill, J Eric Logan of Morehead, KY, Cliff (Brandy) Logan of Morehead, KY; six sisters, Carolyn (Jeff) Robinson of Olive Hill, Elaine Lemaster of Olive Hill, Joyce (Benny) Flynn of Morehead, KY Brenda (Ronnie) Parker, of Carter City, KY, Sandra King of Olive Hill, Lesa Kimmet of Olive Hill; one brother, Gary King of Olive Hill; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Ashley) Glover, Shelby (Devon) Richmond, Sydney (William) Jordan, Dalton Logan, Shane Kilgore, Alexis Logan, Isaac Logan; five great-grandchildren, along with several other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.
Friends may visit 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Duvall and Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt St., Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 31, 2024, with Bro. Mike King officiating. Private burial will be Wednesday, January 1, 2024, at the Wilson Cemetery.
Jeremy Glover, Shane Kilgore, Dalton Logan, Isaac Logan, Justin Robinson, and Josh Lemaster will serve as pallbearers.
