Rickie Eugene Harr

1962 – 2026

Rickie Eugene Harr, 64, of Olive Hill, Ky, entered into rest Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at UK St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY.  He was born February 28, 1962 at the Stovall Hospital in Grayson, KY to Robert Harr and the late Stella Lenor James Harr.

Rickie found joy in the things he felt most sacred – the outdoors and the company of those he loved most.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, often accompanied by his loyal beagle dogs, who were as much a part of his life as family.  Though not one for crowds or large gatherings, he valued his time with family deeply, especially the moments spent with his grandchildren.  Beneath his quiet nature was a sharp and quick sense of humor – he had a comical side and was known for his practical jokes, often catching those around him by surprise.

He was welder and fabricator by trade and took pride in working with his hands and maintained a steady hardworking life.  Throughout his life he has always enjoyed football, having played in high school, he remained a lifelong fan of the game, especially to his Pittsburgh Steelers. 

Rickie will be remembered for his love of family, his humor, and the simple, quiet life he treasured.

In addition to his father, Rickie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Beulah Jane Harr; one daughter, Jessica (Alex) Kiser; one son, Billy (Becky) Parker; one sister, Tonia Harr; one brother, Mark (Sue) Harr; three grandchildren, Jaxson Kiser, Aubrey Kiser, and Emma Parker; and his grandmother, Opal Harr.  In addition to these, he leaves behind a host of other family and friends who will greatly miss him and cherish his memory.

Rickie wished to be remembered in the quiet way he lived; no public services will be held.
