Regina Royce Rose
1949 – 2026
Regina Royce Rose, 76, of Grayson, KY, formerly of Olive Hill, entered into rest Friday morning, January 16, 2026, at her UK – King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born May 31, 1949, in Ashland, KY to the late Evelyn Mae Eden Rose and Arthur William Rose.
After graduating from Olive Hill High School, Regina obtained her teaching degree from Morehead College. A lifelong music lover, she was also interested in other various arts. Regina was a talented artist, specifically painting, as well as quilt-making and other crafts. Regina was also a devoted animal lover and enjoyed the companionship of pets throughout her life. She generally always had a cat, and even a few dogs over the years. She leaves behind her beloved cat, Elizabeth, who was a comfort and companion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Israel Binion; and one sister, Vicki Rose Binion.
Regina is survived by her daughter, Sara Richardson of Indiana; two brothers, Kevin Rose and Kerry Rose, both of Washington state; one grandson, Steven Israel Binion; and her first husband, the father of her children, Charles Binion. In addition to these, she leaves behind a host of other family and friends who will greatly miss her.
In keeping with Regina’s wishes there will be no public services.
