Raymond Oney, 54, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Saturday evening, November 13, 2021 at UK Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born October 4, 1967 in Ashland, KY, to Della Dailey James and the late Arthur Ray Oney.
Raymond was of the Baptist faith. He was well known by those around him as a jokester; and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding Harley motorcycles.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dave and Mary Middleton Dailey; one uncle, Asa Dailey; and one aunt, Edith Clark.
In addition to his mother, Raymond is survived three sons, Christopher Ray Oney of Cynthiana, Brandon Heath Oney of Paris, KY, and Levi Dakota Oney, of Olive Hill; one sister, Jacqueline Sue (Pat) Holbrook of Olive Hill; one brother, Ray (Kim) Oney, of Olive Hill; and five grandchildren, Marquilious Oney, Braeden Oney, Jazlynn Oney, Zayden Oney, and Amberleigh Oney. In addition to these, he leaves behind a host of other friends and family that will greatly miss him.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM, Thursday, November 18, 2021, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Terry Dean officiating. Burial will follow at the Burchett-Dailey Cemetery, in Olive Hill, KY.
