Phyllis J. Trent Duncan
1945-2023
Phyllis J. Trent Duncan, 76, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Wednesday morning December 20, 2023, at St. Claire regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY. She was born June 15, 1947, in Olive Hill, KY, a daughter of the late Roma and Laura Jones Webb.
Phyllis was of the Christian faith and a homemaker. She had a big heart and loved to joke and pull pranks on her family and friends, but she especially loved to feed people and animals, if you walked away from her table hungry there was something wrong, the family also has concerns that QVC may be forced in to bankruptcy with Phyllis’s passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Tom Trent, Blaine Dailey and Jimmie Duncan and a son-in-law Joe Gilliam.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Roark and Lora Gilliam both of Olive Hill, KY; one son-in-law Jerry Roark of Olive Hill, KY; one Step Daughter Julie Dailey of Wheelersburg, OH; three sisters Margie Jessee, Ruthann Goodan and Vada Webb of Olive Hill, KY; one brother and sister-in-law, Romaa Webb Jr and Rhonda of Olive Hill, KY; one step brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Debby Trent of Olive Hill, KY; four grandchildren, Amber and David Conn, Brittany Roark, Thomas and Danielle Gilliam, Dalton and Alexus Roark; three step grandchildren Toni Hall and Kolbin and Brylee Dailey; eight great grandchildren, Dallan Conn, Davin Conn, Olivia Roark, Hadley Conn, Heaven and Russell Carr, Madison Gilliam, Kaycee Gilliam, and Jaxson Gilliam; two great-great grandchildren Noah and Brayden Wilson. In addition to these she is survived by one special caregiver Rachel Owens and Nancy Barker who Phyllis raised and considered as a daughter, and a host of relatives and friends that will cherish her memory.
Funeral Services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday December 23, 2023, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Jason King Officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY
Visitation will be 6:00 –9:00 PM Friday December 22, 2023, and from 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Saturday at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Roark, David Conn, Tommy Gilliam, Dalton Roark, Dallan Conn, Davin Conn, Elbert Cole, and Boone Barker
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mickey Brown, Wayne Stamper, and Jaxson Gilliam.
