Pearline Bledsoe
1933-2018
Pearline Bledsoe, 84, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Monday, May 28, 2018. She was born July 24, 1933 in Carter County, KY, a daughter of the late Arthur and Emily Mae Stevens Bryant.
Mrs. Bledsoe was a retired homemaker and at one time she worked at the mushroom factory in Olive Hill. She was of the Baptist faith and had a love of canning, gardening and quilting. A good cook and the best mom in the world.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Bledsoe in 1986; one daughter, Christine Faye Bledsoe Binion; four sisters, Lorraine Griffith Miller, Rosie Knipp, Juanita Pruitt Carroll and Maxine Boggs; four brothers, Billy Bryant, George Bryant, Earl Bryant and Jessie Bryant; two grandchildren, Teresa Lynn Bledsoe and William Johnson; and one great-granddaughter, Alice Carroll.
Pearline is survived by four daughters, Nellie Bledsoe Jones, Loretta Bledsoe Riley, Debbie Bledsoe Gilliam, all of Olive Hill and Patricia Bledsoe Carroll of Ashland, Ky; two sons, Charles Allen Bledsoe of Bailey, KY and Ricky Bledsoe of Olive Hill; two sisters, Ruby Dickerson and Patricia Knipp; fifteen grandchildren, Mary Beth Groves, Sara Carroll, Thomas Smith, Chad Smith, Megan Wright, Jason Preston, Frenda Dawn Bledsoe, Amanda Hyatt, Kayla Bledsoe, Joseph Bledsoe, Matthew Bledsoe, Donna Dyer, Kathy Dyer, Chris Bryant and Erica Binion; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Barker and Bro. Jack Grizzell officiating. Burial will follow at the Parsons Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call after 6:00pm, Wednesday, May 30 and after 9:00am Thursday, March 31, 2018 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, located at 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
