Paula “Babe” Anita Bradley Jaynes found her final resting place in heaven on November 9, 2024, at her residence.
“Babe” was born July 22, 1943, the daughter of Paul & Ruby
Babe was the most affectionate, compassionate, and dedicated individual who always put others before herself. Babe was a hard-working woman, who spent many years working at the sewing factory in Olive Hill before retiring to become a housewife. She loved cooking Sunday meals for her family. She enjoyed sewing, camping, boating, cheering on her UK CATS, and the many adventures she would get into with her baby sister, Theresa. She took pride in her family and loved being a provider for them.
Babe married the love of her life, Charles Larry Jaynes, Sr. on June 11, 1960. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Babe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Jeffery Craig Jaynes; one grandson Nathan Paul Jaynes; two brothers George Bradley and Larry Jo Bradley; and one sister Patricia Moore.
She is survived by her youngest son Charles “Larry” (Mary) Jaynes, Jr. of Grayson, KY. She leaves behind four grandsons, Justin (Chelsa) Jaynes of Rush, KY, Brad (Jessica) Jaynes of Graener, KS, Chad Jaynes of Olive Hill, KY, and Hunter Harlow of Grayson, KY; four granddaughters, Ashley Jaynes (Zach) of Anchorage, Alaska, Melissa (CJ) Meadows of Grayson, KY, Amanda (Travis Roark of Raceland, KY, and Rylee Harlow of Grayson, KY; Eight great-grandchildren, Roman Jaynes, Cruz Jaynes, Trista Jaynes, Emily Jaynes, Liam Jaynes, Lincoln Jaynes, Adrain Meadows, and Tytan Roark; three surviving sisters; Gaye (Barry) Barker, Marilyn (Jack) Cox, and Theresa (Herbie) Jones.
All will miss her dearly along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Duvall and More Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Bro. Rick Crank officiating. Burial will follow at Gearhart Cemetery.
Friends may visit 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
Justin Jaynes, Chad Jaynes, Brad Jaynes, Hunter Harlow, Ike Raybourn, and Chuck Everman will serve as pallbearers.
Roman Jaynes, Cruz Jaynes, Trista Jaynes, Emily Jaynes, Rylee Harlow, Liam Jaynes, Lincoln Jaynes, Adrian Meadows, Tytan Roark will serve as honorary pallbearers.
