Nedra Ella Henderson Waugh, age 84 of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Wednesday evening June 25, 2025, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. She was born February 17, 1941, in Stickney, WV.
Nedra graduated from Olive Hill Highschool in 1959, she worked for many years at Ashland Sales and Service, Case’s and Olive Hill Finishing Company, later she was a caregiver. She was a member of the James Chapel Community Holiness Church for over 20 years, where she shared her expansive knowledge of the bible thru teaching Adult Sunday School, Bible Study and the Ladies Circle Group.
She was preceded in death by her Stepfather and Mother, Harvey and Virginia Lawson Bloomfield, Her loving husband of 40 years Bud Waugh and the five Henderson Brothers, Bud, Art, Mike, Joe and Whistle.
Nedra is survived by one son Dever Ray Waugh of Olive Hill, KY; two daughters and one son-in-law, Denise Nolen and Stephanie and Darrell Layne all of Olive Hill, KY; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ted Urbanik of Grove City, OH; two grandchildren, Olivia and Stephen Carroll, Jacob and Kayla Layne; two great-grandchildren, Adalyn Carroll and Emilia Carroll; one special niece whom she considered a daughter, Cassie Mears. In addition to these she is survived by a host of relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM on Monday June 30, 2025, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, with Bro. Darryl Garvin Officiating. Burial will follow in the Henderson Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 PM Monday June 30, 2025, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164
Friends and Family will serve as Pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ted Urbanick and Donnie Henderson.
