Mark Tyler Napier, age 39 of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest early Sunday morning November 10, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on February 7, 1985, in Ashland, KY, a son of the late Mark Douglas Napier and Kimberly Tackett Napier.

Tyler was of the Christian faith, and worked for Capstone Logistics in Morehead, KY in the shipping department. He enjoyed the outdoors and would spend as much time as he could fishing. His favorite pastime was playing team sports from an early age until he graduated from high school in 2003. He excelled in football and baseball, with his family and especially his dad, who always supported him in his play. Tyler was a friendly, loyal, and true friend, who valued and appreciated the same qualities in others.   

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Larry Tackett and Kaye Sagraves Tackett, and Ismael Napier and Nelline Napier.

Tyler is survived by his mother and three children; Markus Tyler Napier, Alissa Napier, Emily Napier of Olive Hill; three brothers, Travis (Whitney) Napier of Morehead, KY, Taylor (Rebecca) Napier of Morehead, KY, Trey Napier of Olive Hill, KY; two aunts, Deborah Napier McDermott of Ashland, KY, Beth Tackett (Philip) Roe of Olive Hill, KY; two uncles, Mike (Kim) Tackett of Olive Hill, KY,  Barry Scott Tackett (Kaitlyn Muncy) of Olive Hill, KY; one niece, Harper Louise Napier; two nephews, Mark Thomas Napier, and Landon Napier. In addition to these he leaves many cousins and friends that will miss him.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, with Bro. Justin Wagoner officiating.  Burial will follow at the Clark Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 2024, until time of service, Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.

Travis Napier, Taylor Napier, Trey Napier, Markus Napier, Brett Tackett, and Andy Bradley will serve as pallbearers.
