Ferroll “Louise” Walker, 92, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Community Hospice in Ashland, KY. She was born, October 26, 1927, in Grahn, KY, a daughter to the late Clarence and Laura Fuller Phillips.
Louise worked as a seamstress and in quality control for Cowden’s and Case’s sewing factories for 35 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Olive Hill for over 60 years. She served as a service officer for the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #147. As a homemaker she loved her children, quilting and working in her flowers.
She is survived by five daughters, Faye Barber of Lexington, Helen Stevens (Gary) of Olive Hill, Glenna Ison (Jack) of Mt. Sterling, Noreen Flannery (Mike) of Olive Hill and Dorothy Callihan (Charlie) of Lexington; two sons, Clatis Walker (Shelia) of Gilbertsville and Keith Walker (Debbie) of Olive Hill; twenty grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to these, she also leaves behind a host of family and friends who will greatly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Clatis P. Walker; two daughters, Dannie Sue Cox and Frances L. Walker Johnson; one son, Neely Edward King I; three sisters, Mary Phillips Victor, Beatrice Willis and Barbara Gayle Phillips; and two brothers Hubert Phillips and Mark Phillips.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the First Christian Church in Olive Hill, KY with Bro. Terry Dean and Albert Ison officiating. Burial will follow at Tick Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call 6:00 - 9:00 PM, Monday, December 9, 2019 and after 10:00 AM and until the time of service on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the First Christian Church, 110 Caleb Powers Lane, Olive Hill, KY.
Her grandsons will be serving as Pallbearers: Bobby Cox, Neely King II, Robert Johnson, Kent Barber, Blake Stevens, Mathew Walker, Bradley Walker, Joshua Ison, Patrick Flannery, Thomas Flannery, Andrew Callihan
