Lennis Emmit Middleton

Lennis Emmit Middleton, 76, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Saturday afternoon, November 19, 2022, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 5, 1946, in Carter County, KY a son of the late William and Olive Barker Middleton.

Lennis will be long remembered for his sneaking Grin and his love to pick at people. He was a Jack of all trades, he loved wood working, mechanic work, cutting brush and mowing grass. He loved his family and grandkids. He attended Bowen Chapel Church and had retired from many years of working as a ground’s keeper for Bill Henderson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings, nieces and nephews and one granddaughter Keisha Middleton.

Lennis is survived by his Loving wife of 55 Years Carolyn Sue Bishop Middleton whom he wed June 3, 1967; three sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Mary Middleton, Billy and Kayla Middleton, and David Middleton; four grandchildren, Brooklyn, Dylan, Logan, and Katey. In addition to these he is survived by several Nieces, Nephews and Relatives and Friends who will cherish his memory.

Funeral Services will be Conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday November 22, 2022, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY, with Bro. Elijah Waggoner and Bro. Justin Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Hill Memorial Park.

Friends may visit 6:00-9:00 PM Monday November 21, 2022, and 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Duvall & Moore Funeral & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.

James Middleton, Billy Middleton, Dylan Middleton, Logan Middleton, Andy Adkins, and Jerry Middleton will serve as Pallbearer’s 

David Middleton will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
