Kathy Jo (Erwin) Marshall

Kathy Jo Erwin Marshall, 64, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Monday, July 21, 2025, at UK St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY. She was born April 24, 1961, in Ashland, KY to the late Myra Lou Wells and Joe Bradley Erwin.

Kathy earned her bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University and dedicated many years of service locally to the Headstart program as well as a Human Resources Coordinator with the Northeast Kentucky Community Action Agency, from which she later retired.  She was a devoted member of Forgiven in Christian Faith Church in Grayson, KY, where she faithfully attended and found great comfort in her Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John Franklin and Eva Lee Staggs Wells; and her paternal grandparents, Ernest and Minnie Jackson Wells.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Freddie Marshall; and one brother, Keith Bradley Erwin; and three step-daughters, Sharon Kene, Mary Beth Hopkins, and Sue Carol Marshall. In addition to these, she leaves behind a host of other family and friends who will greatly miss her.

In keeping with Kathy's wishes, private memorial services will be held. Burial will follow in J.R.O.U.A.M. Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
