Jesse "Tweedy" Carroll

Jesse “Tweedy” Carroll, 68, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Monday, September 27, 2021 at UK Healthcare in Lexington, KY. He was born November 23, 1952 in Grayson, KY, to the late Raymond and Genevieve Carroll.

Tweedy was a ‘Harley enthusiast’, he loved that old motorcycle. He didn’t ride it, but he kept it in the garage, figuring one day someone would enjoy it.  Fishing was his favorite leisurely pastime, but spending time with his kids and grandkids was what he loved most.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant sister, Sybill Carroll; and one nephew, Michael Barker.

Tweedy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Carroll; one daughter, Ashley (Ted) Wilson; two sons, Raymond (Becky) Carroll, and Luke (Katelyn) Carroll; one sister, Patty Barker; four grandchildren, Ethan Lowe, Kaylee Lowe, Kendall Carroll and Kora Carroll; and his beloved dog, Bruno. In addition to these, he leaves behind a host of other friends and family that will greatly miss him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3:00PM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Larry Oberlitner officiating.

Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the time of service, Friday, October 1, 2021; at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.

Glen Binion, Ronnie Lowe, James Carroll, Roger Linville, Tim Lowe, Ted Wilson, Austin Barker, John Fultz, and Larry Oberlitner will serve as honorary pallbearers.
