James Michael “ Virgil” Barker

James Michael “Virgil” Barker, 41, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Monday morning, May 9, 2022, in Lewis County, KY.  He was born July 3, 1980, in Ashland, KY, to Velma F. Holbrook Barker and the late Willis Ray Barker.

Virgil enjoyed drawing and spending time with his friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Ray “Bruno” Barker.

In addition to his mother, Virgil is survived by one son, Ryker Flaugher; and one sister, Tammy (Keith) Offill. In addition to these, Virgil leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and other family and friends who will greatly miss him.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Jim Owens officiating. Burial will follow at the Barker Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt St., Olive Hill, KY 41164.

Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
