Gregory "Greg" Thomas Adkins

Gregory “Greg” Thomas Adkins, age 56, of Grayson, KY entered into rest Thursday afternoon August 7, 2025, at his residence. He was born November 26, 1968, in Ashland, KY, as a son of the late Henry Thomas Adkins and Alta D. Hamilton Adkins.

Greg was of the Baptist Faith and had worked for Laborer Union Local 1445, Brandon’s Auto Care and most recently worked as a Truck Driver for Clay’s Tire in Grayson, KY. He loved playing guitar and had been a member of the Southern Rail Southern Rock Band. He enjoyed riding four wheelers and his Red Camaro. He will often be remembered for his dry sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant brother Tommy Joe Adkins.

He is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Lowell Burton of Olive Hill, KY, Brenda and Mike Hay, Lynn and Jim Kitchen and Janie and Tony Little all of Grayson, KY; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great- great nieces and nephews as well as a host of relatives and friends that will cherish his memory.

A private Celebration of Gregs life will be conducted followed by burial in East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson, KY.
