Grace Lambert Knipp, 83, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Friday, November 8, 2024, at UK King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. She was born June 12, 1941, a daughter to the late Albert Lambert and Pauline King Lambert.
Grace worked for the United States Post Office and was a rural route carrier for 31 years. She was of the Christian faith and member of the Nazarene Church in Olive Hill, she was a great cook and grandmother, who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was married 64 years to the late Eugene “Gene” Knipp, whom she loved and cared for until his passing in October of 2024.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Elwood Lambert.
Grace is survived by two sons, Billy (Lisa) Knipp, and David (Cherri) Knipp; four grandchildren, Tori (Alex) Thomas, Kari (Justin) Schlarman, Lauren Knipp, and Jill Knipp; and one great-granddaughter, Annalee Thomas. Three brothers Carl Lambert, Raymond “Bub” Lambert and Donald Lambert. In addition to these, she leaves behind a host of other family and friends who will greatly miss her and cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Bro. Jeremy Traylor officiating. Burial will follow at Lambert Cemetery.
Friends may visit 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday, November 11, 2024, at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
