Golden Conn, Jr.
1939 - 2020
Junior Conn, 81, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born, January 25, 1939 in Elliott County, KY, a son of the late Golden and Agnes Evans Conn.
Junior was a carpenter and farmer who enjoyed wood working and spending time with his family. He was dedicated to his wife of 59 years, Maxine Reynolds Conn, who passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020.
In addition to his parents and wife, Junior was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Dean Reynolds; two sisters, Gloria “Sissy” Middleton and Amanda (Roy) Roe; and one brother, Thurman “Pudgy” Conn.
He is survived by one son, Brian Conn of Olive Hill; three daughters, Deborah Fairchild (John Brown) of Olive Hill, Madonna (Rick) Osborn of Wurtland, KY, and Bridgett Conn of Grayson, KY; four grandchildren, Jeremy Damron, Brittani Damron, Felicia Havens and Lauren Cottle; three great-grandchildren, Ethen Damron, Ryleigh Riddle and Roger Damron; four brothers, Billy Conn of Mansfield, OH, Joe (Barb) Conn, Ernie (Debbie) Conn, Johnny (Kathy) Conn, all of Olive Hill, KY; one sister, Verlina (Roger) Greenhill, of Olive Hill. In addition to these, Junior leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom will greatly mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 17, 2020 at 1:00PM at Duvall & Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Andrew Justice and Bro. Terry Dean officiating. Burial will follow at J & M Conn Cemetery in Elliott County, KY.
Friends may visit from 5:00 – 9:00PM on Sunday, February 16, 2020 and 9:00AM until time of service on Monday at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
