Glennis Edward Trent, 66, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, entered into rest, Tuesday evening, November 28, 2023 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. He was born October 19, 1957, a son to the late Emil and Shirley Trent.
Glennis was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed the outdoors, working in his garden, hunting, fishing, being with his family and friends, playing music, singing, and woodworking.
Glennis is survived by a son, Jamie Trent and granddaughter; four brothers, Gary (Sharon) Trent, Ray (Tammy) Trent, Randy Trent, and Roger Trent. In addition to these he also leaves behind his wife, Debra Trent; stepson, Aaron Vance; step-grandchildren, Dillon Vance, and Jackson Vance; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will greatly miss him and cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Burial will follow at the Trent Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM -1:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, Ky 41164.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
