Geneva Porter Erwin Ingram
1926-2021
Geneva Porter Erwin Ingram, age 95, of Fishers, IN, (formerly of Olive Hill, KY), entered into rest Tuesday evening, August 24, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Globe, KY on April 8, 1926, to the late Jasper and Senia Hall Porter. Geneva was a cashier at Stamper’s Market in Olive Hill and attended Three Pine Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ora A. Erwin and her second husband, George “Dutch” Ingram; her step-son, Charles “Chuck” Ingram; one sister, Francis Keaton; five brothers, Everett Porter, Boone Porter, Ercel Porter, Farold Porter and Roy Porter.
Geneva is survived by one son, Gary (Linda) Erwin; three step-sons, Darrell Ingram, Bob Ingram, and Larry Ingram; two grandsons, Chris (Rebecca) Erwin and Jeff (Rachel) Erwin; one step-granddaughter, Corina (Jay) Gabbard; and four great-granddaughters, Katie, Emily, Sarah and Cecilia Erwin.
A special thank you and appreciation to her caregivers, Jay and Corina Gabbard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Gary Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
Friends may visit 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Jay Gabbard, Chris Erwin, Jeff Erwin, Scott Porter, Greg Hall, and Ralph Lowe will serve as pallbearers.
