The summers that I spent at my grandmothers and my Aunt Betty and Uncle Gene's (along with my Aunt Jewel and Uncle Bill) are some of my fondest and greatest memories. One memory comes flooding back each time I think of those days at Betty and Gene's...Linda and Denny and myself would ride bikes around the tree that was in their back yard..Gene would be eating watermelon and as we'd pass by, he'd spit the seeds at us and just laugh. Another memory was when they were staying with us when Granny was in her last weeks with cancer. We had gotten Betty and Gene (especially Gene) hooked on the old Atari PacMan game. He never learned how to get the game started and would be pacing the floor for one of us to wake up each morning to turn the game on and get it started for him. I think after they went home, they purchased the game for themselves and he probably mastered it. I will miss him terribly for some of my greatest memories were with him and Aunt Betty. Rest in peace and the loving arms of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. Helen
