Eddie Ferrell Brunson

Eddie Ferrell Brunson, age 90 of Olive Hill, KY, formerly of Huntington, WV, entered into rest Wednesday evening November 5, 2025, at his daughter’s residence. He was born February 26, 1935, in Barboursville, WV, a son of the late Lloyd Brunson and Emogene Hensley Brunson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Annette Yvonne Ransbottom Brunson; one brother, Buddy Brunson; one sister, Janice Brunson Smith; one son Joseph “Joey” Ferrell Brunson and one grandson, Justin Trent Gray.

Eddie was a member of Olive Baptist Church in Barboursville, WV, and a Graduate of Huntington East Highschool. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. After his discharge from the Army, Eddie went to work for Heiner’s Bakery where he retired as a Truck Driver with 25 years of Service.

In his free time Eddie enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by one son Eddie Lee (Gail) Brunson; two daughters, Teri Brunson (Douglas) Dorris, Tami (Allen) Rogers; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. In addition to these he leaves behind a host of relatives and friends that will cherish his memory.

Funeral Services will be Conducted 12:00 PM Monday November 10, 2025, at the Olive Baptist Church in Barboursville, WV with Rev Gordan Rutherford Officiating. Private Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington, WV.

Visitation will be conducted 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday November 10,2025, at the Olive Baptist Church, 6286 Little Seven Mile Road · Huntington, WV 25702.
