Donna Jean Tackett

Donna Jean Tackett, age 83, of Lakeland, FL, entered into rest Sunday morning, February 28, 2021 at home.

She was born in Olive Hill, KY on February 10, 1938, to the late Woodrow and Ruby Mauk Steele. Donna Jean was of the Baptist faith and she was a retired employee of the Polk County School Board in Polk County, FL.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, James Tackett; and one sister, Delores Steele Ingold.

Donna Jean is survived by one son, Chris (Lisa) Tackett; one daughter, Lisa (Jake) Tackett Foley;  four grandchildren, Erica, Brandon, Megan and Derek; and two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Isaiah.

A private graveside service will be conducted at the Olive Hill Memory Gardens in Olive Hill, KY.

Friends and Family will serve as Pallbearers.
