Denver Ray Waugh 

1962 – 2026

Denver Ray Waugh, 63, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Monday morning, January 26, 2026, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  He was born June 29, 1962, in Ashland, KY to the late Denver and Nedra Henderson Waugh.

Ray was a member of James Chapel Community Holiness Church.  He spent most of his working years as an OTR truck driver, and then later as a driver for Olive Hill Trucking before he retired.

He is survived by two sisters, Denise Nolen and Stephanie (Darrell) Layne both of Olive Hill; one niece, Olivia (Stephen) Carroll of Olive Hill; one nephew, Jacob (Kayla) Layne of Mt. Sterling, two great-nieces, Adalyn and Emilia Carroll of Olive Hill; and one aunt, Kathy (Ted) Urbanik of Grove City, OH. In addition to these, he leaves behind a host of other friends and family who will greatly miss him and cherish his memory.

While honoring Ray’s wishes, the family will observe a farewell at a later date due to current weather conditions and the cemetery’s location.
