Deloris Ann "Susie" Tackett

Deloris Ann “Susie” Tackett, 68, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Thursday afternoon January 19, 2023 at Life Care Center in Morehead, KY. She was born January 28, 1954 in Grayson, KY a daughter of the late Coy and Mae Salyers Tackett. 

Susie was a graduate of the West Carter High School Class of 1979, and a member of the Olive Hill Nazarene Church. She enjoyed working puzzles, writing letters, and spending time with her dog, Rusty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her, Arthur and Flossie Tackett.

She is survived by one sister, Marilyn Kay (Sam) Weddington of Sandy Hook; two brothers, Randall Lee (Tami) Tackett of Olive Hill, and Allen Ray (Arnetta) Tackett of Morehead; and six nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved, James, Jerry, Angie, Ashley, Dakota, and Daneyl.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Darryl Garvin officiating.  Burial will follow at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Friends may visit 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
