Deegan Spencer Beane

Deegan Spencer Beane, 17, of Olive Hill, KY passed away Tuesday January 18th, 2022, in Rowan County, KY. He was born May 30th, 2004, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Ky.

Deegan is survived by his father, Robert Beane and stepmother, Mary Thompson, and by his mother Chandra Marsh. Along with his parents he is survived by his two brothers, Jaxson and Jace Beane; his two sisters, Reagan Brown, and Kennadi Crider; paternal grandparents, Brian "Poppy" and Lisa "Nana" Beane; maternal grandparents, Renna Kiser and John Marsh; great-grandmothers, Diane Beane and Sharon Piper; great-grandparents, Spencer and Charlotte Kiser; aunts, Shawna Middleton (Terry), Stacy Lewis (David), Tracy Spurlock (Mark), Summer Marsh (Marc) and Brooke Marsh (Luke); uncles, Adam Marsh (Katie) and Austin Marsh (Lexie). He is also survived by his best friends Ryan Underwood and Joseph Barker, plus a host of family and friends who will greatly miss him.

Deegan was proceeded in death by his late great-grandfather, Robert "Bob" Piper, his great-great-grandmother, Betty Honea; and his uncle, Matthew Kiser.

As a member of the 2016 EKC football championship team, Deegan enjoyed football and working out with his friends. He also enjoyed his carpentry class at vocational school, playing video games, watching the UK Wildcats, and spending time with his family. One of his proudest accomplishments was being accepted to Morehead State University for the Fall 2022 semester.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the WCHS Alumni Scholarship Foundation, with Deegan's name notated in the memo. A 2022 West Carter Senior attending Morehead State will be awarded the scholarship.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Underwood, Joseph Barker, Trey Middleton, Leighton Piper, Taylor & Treyce Spurlock, Reid & Abby Caudill, Adam & Austin Marsh and Dylan Kiser

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the Tick Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.  The funeral procession will leave at 2:00 PM from Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

Friends may visit from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
