David "Harve" Callahan

David “Harve” Callahan, 53, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Friday evening, September 17, 2021. He was born March 5, 1968 in Ashland, KY, to Joyce Porter Callahan and the late Challas Callahan.

In addition to his father, Harve was preceded in death by two sons, Michael (an infant) and Bradley Austin Callahan.

Every person has a unique history and story, and Harve was no exception.  He was a private person who was content with not being the center of attention; yet, he was kind and had the biggest heart for his family and friends.  The highlight of his world was his best friend and son, Brad.  That light dimmed after the loss of Bradley over a year ago, but we can only imagine how bright he is shining now; to be reunited with Bradley and Michael.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, Rick (Becky) Callahan; two nieces, Haley Callahan (Jonathon) Stevens and Taylor Callahan; one nephew, Trevor Callahan; two great-nephews, Luke & Beau Stevens ; and a cousin, Shirley Erwin. In addition to these, he leaves behind a host of other friends and family that will greatly miss him.

In keeping with Harve’s wishes, there will be no public services.
