Darlene Sue (Cochran) Burke

Darlene Sue Cochran Burke, 75, of Grayson, KY, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, June 2, 2024, at Community Hospice Center in Ashland, KY. She was born January 27, 1949, in Hamilton County, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Maggie Ash Cochran.

Darlene enjoyed many different hobbies and interests.  She enjoyed family gatherings, crocheting, and playing cards. She collected many different things, but especially loved giraffes and painting pottery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Catherine Burke.

She is survived her loving husband of 52 years, Glen Burke; two daughters, Donia Burke, and Delaina Minge; one son, Glen “G.J.” (Kristi) Burke; one brother, David Cochran, eight grandchildren, Autumn, Allie, A.J., William, Sam, Thomas, Levi, and Ivy; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Maggie, Lucas, and Flynn. In addition to these, Darlene leaves behind a large extended family, and a host of friends that will miss her and cherish her memory.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:30 PM, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Mike Greene officiating.
