Connie Jo Sparks, 54, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Friday morning, March 11, 2022, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY. She was born in Morehead, KY on March 4, 1968, to Evelyn Gilbert Sparks and the late Leroy “Pee Wee” Sparks.

Connie was a private in-home caregiver for the elderly. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a people person and very funny; and she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Connie was very loving and giving; she always wanted to put other’s needs before her own.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her domestic partner, Jeff Mocabee.

In addition to her mother, Connie is survived by one daughter, Amber Dawn Sparks; one special nephew, Jax Sparks, whom she helped to raise; six sisters, Angie Sparks, Elizabeth Sparks, Vickie Bair, Laurie (Bucky) Waddell, Gail (Butch) Dermon, and Denise (Michael) Adams; and one brother, Junior (Mollie) Sparks. In addition to these, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews; as well as a host of family and friends who will greatly miss her.

The family will be hosting a Memorial Service to honor Connie at 1:00 PM, on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Olive Hill Community Center/Senior Citizen Building.
