Coby Gene Bowling

Coby Gene Bowling Sr. age 84 of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Saturday Morning September 23, 2023, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY. He was born January 16, 1939, in Cannonsburg, KY, a son of the late Robert Lee Bowling Sr and Lillian Jackson Bowling.

Coby was retired from Kentucky Electric where he worked in the Rolling Mill for many years. He was of the Christian Faith and love reading his bible especially the Book of Ruth. He also enjoyed Country, Gospel, and Blue Grass Music. He also loved the Outdoors, Hunting, Fishing, Gardening and Woodworking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 Siblings.

He is survived by his Loving wife of 65 years Laverne Hutchinson Bowling; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terrie and Kenny England and Jackie and Harlen Dickison; three sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Joy Bowling, Todd and Amanda Bowling and Coby and Tammy Bowling Jr.; 18 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. In addition to these he is survived by a host of relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.

Funeral Services will be Conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday September 26, 2023, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Bowling Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chase Stone, Shannon Haney, R.J. Bowling Jr., Josh England, Coby Bowling III and Travis Bowling.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM-2:00 PM Tuesday September 26, 2023, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, Ky 41164.
