Cledith Ray Blevins, Sr.
1943-2022
Cledith Ray Blevins, Sr., 79, of Olive Hill, KY went to be with the Lord, Monday afternoon, December 5, 2022, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY. He was born January 27, 1943, in Grahn, KY a son of the late Elisha Marion Blevins and Ernestine Jeanette Phillips Blevins.
Ray was a member of Three Pine Freewill Baptist Church, where he also served as an usher. He deeply loved his church and was a dedicated servant for many years. He always enjoyed the ministry of Deacon Bob Kazee, Mike Williams, and Bro. Eddie Wiler. Ray will always be remembered for his ability to bless others through his gift of prayers, full of compassion, heart, and love.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Ronald “Ron” Eugene Blevins.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Anna Blevins; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Cledith Ray (Bern) Blevins, Jr. and Anthony “Tony” Blevins; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one aunt, Carolyn Duncan. In addition to these he leaves behind a host of other family, friends, and church family who will greatly miss him and cherish his memory.
In keeping with Ray’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services. A private service will be held at a later date with Bro. Gary Sparks officiating.
