Clarence Earnest “Ernie” McGuire, 61, of Olive Hill, passed away Friday afternoon December 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born October 16, 1953 in Carter County, KY. Ernie spent most of his Life working in Sawmills throughout the area, He Loved to Tinker with Cars, Lawnmowers, Small Engines, Crafts and working with his hands, and was a Member of the End Time Harvest Tabernacle in Clearfield, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father George Dowell McGuire.

Ernie is Survived by his Mother Dorothy  McGuire, His Loving wife, Kimberly McGuire; Five Brothers, Herman (Angie) McGuire of Carter City, KY, Johnny McGuire of Olive Hill, KY, William McGuire of Morehead, KY, David McGuire of Bath County, KY, Billy Joe (Vickie) McGuire of Olive Hill, KY; Four Sisters, Margie Binion of Olive Hill, KY, Viola Cooley of Bath County, KY, Glenna Cooley of Olive Hill, KY, Janie Littleton of Morehead, KY; three Step sons, David Cooley of Olive Hill, KY, Nathan (Leah) Cooley of Flemingsburg, KY and Daniel Cooley of Olive Hill, KY; one Step daughter Deeann (Samuel) Wheeler of Olive Hill, KY; four step grandchildren, Halie Wagoner, David Jordan Colley, Molly Grace Cooley, Emma Grace Cooley. In addition Ernie leaves many friends and relatives that will sadly miss him.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday December 8, 2014 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home, with Rev. Tracy Fannin Officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Ridge Cemetery near Carter City, KY. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Joe McGuire, David McGuire, Keith Bays, Daniel Cooley, David Cooley, and Nathan Cooley.
