1946 – 2021

Clarence Franklin Lyons, 74, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest Thursday, February 25, 2021 at St. Claire Regional Hospital in Morehead, KY. He was born October 18, 1946, in Carter County, KY, to the late Clarence and Mary Hedge Lyons.

Frank earned two Bachelor’s Degrees, one in geology and the other in geography. He retired from Armco Steel after 32 ½ years. Frank was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed fishing, camping, and collecting watches, knives and guns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Mac Arthur Lyons.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Reggena Gilliam Lyons; one son, Clarence Franklin Lyons, Jr.; one sister, Myra Carroll; one brother, Jerry (Donna Ruth) Lyons; and one sister-in-law, Teresa Lyons. In addition to these, he also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will deeply miss him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY with Bro. Daryl Garvin officiating.  Burial will follow at the Lyons Family Cemetery on Dehart Lane in Olive Hill.

Friends may visit 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 27, 2021 and Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
