1955-2023

Cheryl Lynn Duvall Greenhill, 67, of Jeffersonville, KY entered into rest Thursday afternoon, May 18, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 6, 1955 in Carter County, KY; a daughter of the late Samuel David Duvall and Dora Edith Burton Duvall.

Cheryl was of the Christian faith and was a 1973 graduate of West Carter High School.  In addition to working as a teacher’s aide for the mentally and physically handicapped in the Montgomery County School system for 28 years, she also was a caretaker for her family. Cheryl enjoyed cooking and gardening and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and her kids at school.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Carl and Deloris Greenhill, and one brother-in-law, Vasco “Skippy” Layne.

Cheryl is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Teddy Greenhill; one daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Eric Griggs of Stanton, Ky; one son and daughter-in-law, Casey Dwayne and Crystal Greenhill of Jeffersonville,KY; three brothers and sister-in-laws, David and Lorene Duvall, Michael and Lynn Duvall, and Gary and Missy Duvall, all of Olive Hill; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby and Mitzi Greenhill of North Middletown, KY; one sister-in-law, Linda Layne; five grandchildren, Hailey Greenhill, Kloey Fair, Dylan Griggs, Ryan Griggs, and Jillian Griggs; and one great-grandchild, Lincoln Curtis . In addition to these, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will greatly miss her and cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Clifford “Tippy” Price officiating.  Burial will follow at the Burton Family Cemetery.

Friends may visit 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Sunday, May 21, 2023; and 9:00 AM until the time of service, Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.

Rick Stephens, Dylan Griggs, Travis Duvall, Brandon Burton, Caden Stephens, Aaron Duvall, Hunter Stephens, and Randy Burton will serve as pallbearers.
