Charles L. “Larry” Morrison, age 82, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Thursday evening, September 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born December 21, 1942, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late William E. and M. Esther Tuller Morrison.
Larry was retired Electronics Technician with over 20 years of Service with Norfolk-Southern Railroad. He loved to Garden, ride his side by side and play keyboard especially the old Hymns, he also was part of “Someday” the outdoor. A man of deep faith, Larry faithfully attended First Baptist Church in Olive Hill, KY for nearly 40 years, serving as Sunday School Teacher, Adult Choir Member, Organist and for 35 years he served as a Deacon and Trustee.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 Years Delores Kiser Morrison whom he wed July 26, 1964; one daughter, Lora Ann Morrison Speakman of Olive Hill, KY; a son and daughter-in-law John Andrew “Andy” Morrison and his wife Bobbie Jo of Norfolk, VA; one brother Merle E. Morrison of Troy, MI; grandchildren Ashley Speakman (Brian) Knipp, Angela Speakman (Taylor) Howard, Jory Morrison, Neil Morrison, Lilly Anne Banks; great-grandchildren, Cailynn Speakman, Cyleigh Speakman, Noah Howard, Sadie Knipp, Simon Knipp, Thomas Knipp, and Nora Knipp; two life long friends, Robert “Bob” Secrist of Perrysville, OH and Stan and Janet Mowry of Bellville, OH; and a close co-worker Russell Mullins Jr. In addition to these Larry is survived by a host of Relatives, Friends and Church Family who will cherish his Memory.
Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM on Saturday October 4, 2025, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Eddie Barker Officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlone Creek Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday October 3, 2025, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street Olive Hill, KY 41164
