Charles Norman Egbert           

1942-2019

Charles Norman Egbert, 77, of Quincy, KY, entered into rest at the Life Care Center in Morehead, KY on Monday, April 29, 2019.  He was born in Hamilton, OH, May 2, 1942, a son of the late Charles Norman Egbert, Sr. and Maude Harmon Egbert.

Mr. Egbert was a truck driver (owner/operator) with Egbert Truck Leasing for 40 years. He loved driving a truck and working on race cars. Charles also enjoyed fishing, going on cruises and watching racing. He was a long time Jeff Gordan fan.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Egbert; two daughters, Cassiemay Louise Davis and Mary Rose Lightner; one son, Billy Egbert; and two brothers, Dale Egbert and Gene Egbert.

Charles is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Pierce and Alicia M. Egbert Herron; one son, Harold Egbert; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends who will greatly miss him.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00pm, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Skidmore Cemetery in Lewis Co. with Bro. Tony Corns officiating.
