Charlene Carle

Charlene Carle, age 68 of Richmond KY, passed away on March 22nd, 2020 at Baptist Health, Lexington KY. She was born in Olive Hill, KY January 4th , 1952.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Graymond and Dollie Burton and husband David Allen Wells.

Survivors include husband Rick Carle of Richmond KY, sons David (Missy) Wells of Versailles, Allen Wells of Lexington, and Scott Carle of Huntsville AL ; two brothers, Bill (Carolyn) Burton of  Lexington, Monroe Burton of Olive Hill and three sisters, Lillian Frazier of Olive Hill, Judy (Harry) Burton of Tequesta FL and Brenda(Rob) Roe of Pensacola FL; Grandchildren Gray Wells, Haydon Wells, Sutton Carle and Cierra Carle and many loving nieces and nephews.

Charlene was retired from East Kentucky Power in Winchester, KY and went on to work for the Madison County School System for many years.  She was a dedicated member of Red House Baptist Church in Richmond, KY, in which she served as a Sunday School teacher for the children among many other duties.  Charlene also enjoyed donating her time to worthy causes such as Big Brothers and Sisters, Wreaths Across America, and Hospice.

Charlene will be missed deeply by many and continued to be loved by many more.

Due to Covid-19 requirements set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, a private family service will be held at Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Dr. Deron Cobb officiating.  A private interment will follow at Wells Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.   A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
