Casey James Crider, age 40, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Tuesday evening May 21, 2024, at Kings Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland, KY. He was born May 13, 1984, in Mansfield, OH a son of James Noel Crider of Olive Hill, KY and Sherry Jane Jackson Crider of Morehead, KY
Casey was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a Lineman for LPT Power Line Construction. He was a Graduate of West Carter Highschool and loved fishing, hunting and cars.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Maggie “Mickey” and Phillip Duncan and maternal grandfather Paul Junior Jackson and great-grandmother Bessie Francis Whitt.
In addition to his mother and father he is survived by his Step Father Ray Johnson of Morehead, KY; one daughter Kennadi Renae Crider; one son, Preston James Crider; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shannon and Brent Boggs of Olive Hill, KY, Christal and Paul Dailey of Olive Hill, KY; two step-sisters, Brandy Johnson of Morehead, KY and Amanda Johnson of Ohio, nieces and Nephews, Bre Boggs, Bristol Boggs, Brody Boggs, Levi Dailey, Harley Dailey, Logan Dailey, one great niece Joselee Dailey, a special cousin Megan Rayburn. In addition to these he is survived by several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends that will cherish his memory.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday May 27, 2024, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY with Bro. Darryl Garvin and Todd Antrobus Officiating. Interment will follow in the Fultz Cemetery at Bethel.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday May 26, 2024, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164.
Pallbearers will be Brent Boggs, Paul Dailey, Levi Dailey, Harley Dailey, Logan Dailey, Brody Boggs, Preston Crider, Ray Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Porter, Glenn Stamper, Mike Jackson, Steve Jackson, Hack Jackson, Billy Jack Rayburn.
