Bobby Davis

Bobby Davis, 92, entered into rest, Sunday night, May 17, 2020 at his residence in Ashland, KY. He was born in Johnson County, KY, March 6, 1928, a son, to the late Edgar and Gracie Hood Davis.

Bobby was a retired millwright at Armco Steel.  He was a 60 year member of 2nd Freewill Baptist Church in Ashland, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Millateen Blair Davis; two sons, Robbie Davis and Danny J. Davis; one granddaughter, Holly Elizabeth Davis; and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Davis.

Bobby is survived by one daughter, Pam (Chuck) Mauk of Ashland, KY; one son, Jeffrey L. (Teresa) Davis of Pikeville, KY; one daughter-in-law, Jan Davis in Florida; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. In addition to these, Bobby leaves behind many extended family, friends and church family who will greatly miss him.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 2nd Freewill Baptist Church in Ashland, KY with Bro. James Lindsey and Bro. Randy Skaggs officiating. Military honors will be conducted after the funeral in the church parking lot.  A private burial will follow at Golden Oaks Cemetery in Ashland, KY.

Friends may visit from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 at the 2nd Freewill Baptist Church, 2121 29th Street, Ashland, Ky.

Due to COVID-19 requirements, social distancing must be practiced and seating and visitation may be limited.
