Billy R. Stone

Billy R. Stone, 90, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Thursday evening December 14, 2023, at his residence. He was born December 6, 1933, in Elliott County, KY a son of the late Ray Stone and Etta Ellen Bair Stone.

Billy was a United States Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War, after his military service he was successful owner and operator of Stone Office Machine in Lexington, KY for many years until the modern computer age brought about his retirement. He loved Hunting and Fishing and being outdoors, he especially loved to be involved with Firearms of all types. For the Past 20 years Billy was a member of the Three Pine Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Hill, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife Jenny Lunsford Stone and one brother Larry Allen Stone and one sister Crystal Carrol  

He is survived by his Loving companion of 50 years Charlotte Holbrook; one daughter Stephanie Stone of Lexington, KY; two sons Billy R. Stone Jr. and Anthony Stone both of Lexington, KY; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Zady Clevenger of Olive Hill, KY, Mary and Mike Fry of Napolean, OH, and Joy and Roger Patrick of Brunswick, OH; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, James A. Stone of Lexington, KY, Tom and Betty Stone of Lebanon, OH, Leroy and Judy Stone of Olive Hill, KY and Ted Stone of St. Albans, WV; four grandchildren Ashley Caudill and her husband Chris, Megan Welton and her husband Robert, Emmalee Stone and Matthew Stone; five great-great grandchildren, Jamison and Everleigh Caudill, Hannah Cooper, Robert and Thomas Welton, Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of relatives and friends that will cherish his memory.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday December 19, 2023, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY with Bro. Gary Sparks Officiating. Burial will follow in the Stone Cemetery in Elliott County with Military Honors.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Monday December 18, 2023, at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164

Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy’s Grand and Great Grand Children.
