Barry Dale Barker

Barry Dale Barker, age 73, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Saturday morning December 28, 2024, at his residence. He was born October 23, 1951, at Stovall Hospital in Grayson, KY a son of the late Glen Barker and Nora Tackett Barker.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Ben Barker.

Barry was retired from United States Postal Service where he served 36 years as a Rural Route Mail Carrier, He liked to hunt and fish, U.K. Basketball and NHRA Drag Racing. He also enjoyed Hot Rods.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Gaye Bradley Barker; one daughter Joetta Barker; three sons and two daughter -in-laws, Willis and Laura Barker, Chy and Vanessa Barker and Corey Barker; one brother and sister-in-law Bobby and Salisha Barker; 10 grandchildren, Chelsea and Jason Newsome, Thomas and Haley Barker, William Barker, Winston Barker, Haley Grace Barker, Colt Barker, Krisi Cuneo, Emma Sullivan, Jameson Barker and Lincoln Barker; 4 Great Grandchildren Leah Newsome, Addyson Newsome, Jackson Newsome, Henry Thomas Barker.  In addition to these he leaved behind a host of relatives and friends that will mourn his passing.

Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday January 1, 2025, at the Rattlesnake Ridge community center on Rattlesnake Ridge in Grahn, KY.
