Omega Smith Oppenheimer

Omega Smith Oppenheimer, 85 of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Friday morning, September 20, 2019 at St. Claire Healthcare in Morehead, KY. She was born September 2, 1934 in Elliott County, KY a daughter of the late Fred and Zora Lyons Smith.

Omega was of the Christian faith and was compassionate and caring. She was fondly known as “Granny” to many and loved by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Her Husband of 43 years, “Mose” Oppenheimer and her daughter Kathy Oppenheimer.

She is survived by two sons Michael and Donnie Oppenheimer both of Olive Hill, KY; seven grandchildren, Mike Oppenheimer Jr. of Olive Hill, KY, Jon Hickman of Springfield, MO, Josh Oppenheimer of HI, Levi Oppenheimer,  Sarah Oppenheimer, Moses Oppenheimer and Cade Oppenheimer all of Olive Hill, KY; two great-grandchildren, Charlie Oppenheimer and Joseph Oppenheimer. In addition to these she is survived by a host of Relatives and Friends who will Cherish he memory.

Funeral Services will be Conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY with Bro Clyde Holbrook Officiating. Burial will follow in the Mose Oppenheimer Family Cemetery on Tick Ridge Road in Olive Hill, KY.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street Olive Hill, KY 41164.

Serving as Pallbearer’s will be Charlie Oppenheimer, Travis McCleese, Herman Conn, Colten Fields, Scot Greenhill, and Doug Porter.
