Millie (Salyers) Rayburn

Millie Salyers Rayburn, of Pleasant Valley, departed this life on July 3, 2019. Mille was born May 25th, one of eleven children to Oscar and Wanda Kiser Salyers.

Millie had worked many years in the garment factories in Olive Hill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Douglas Sisco; and eight siblings, Lillian King, Troy Salyers, Kenneth Salyers, Nadine Stegall, Mae Tackett, Billy Salyers, Betty Sisk and Roger Salyers.

Millie is survived by three daughters, Debra Yeager (Charles) of Sanford, FL, Kimberly Plummer (Mark) and Vickie Rayburn (Harold Gilliam) both of Olive Hill; three grandchildren, Similee Tackett (Jim) of Ashland, KY, Coty Holland (Charlie) and Bo D. Rayburn both of Olive Hill; three great-grandchildren, Nate Holland, Ace Holland and Jackson Tackett; two sisters, Phyllis Bryant of Ashland, OH and Emma Jean Roark of Olive Hill; and many nieces and nephews.

Millie was one of a kind, strong willed, fearless, humorous and determined woman. She will be missed by all who knew her. Millie enjoyed sitting on her porch and visiting her family. Millie loved and appreciated all of her Pleasant Valley neighbors. A special thanks to the Littleton family for their kindness and consideration.

Funeral Services will be conducted 4:00 PM, Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Duvall & Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Sparks officiating. A private burial will follow on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 1:00 -4:00 PM, Sunday, July 7, 2019 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
